Well the first batch when smoothly enough- maybe not as smooth as the ricotta cheese:)
But heck that is what life is all about…learning!
Simply dressed it with some coratina olive oil, parsley, and trapani salt…delicious with some fresh bread and wine.
I was able to find a local source here that sells sweet whey by the gallon (about $1/gallon). Look around in your neck of the woods and see what you find. Would love to hear about your sources and what you experience. It really is a simple thing to make.
I will work on my recipe for homemade ricotta cheese a little more and then post it later…
And of course we had some leftover chicken gravy and bits so we had a great dish of pasta alla sugo d’arrosto.
